This series of video talks about the “modern phobias” we encounter every day. My initial thought was to create an old silent film style video. While I was generating my ideas, I picked four ideas that usually drove people crazy. They were fear of the dark, fear of things that were not well organized, fear of making choices, and fear of the phone out of battery.
The video is full of narratives which combines visual and sonic elements. I use green screen so that I can change the background later. The reason why I choose mono-color as background color is because I want the audience to focus on my gesture and my facial expression instead of other settings. There are no subtitles in the video, so the only clue is my gesture. Also, music plays a vital role. It helps to depict the mood and exaggerate emotion.
